We are ending our spectacular seventh Season with the mother of all song and dance extravaganzas - the big and bold 42nd Street! This lively musical truly celebrates the stuff that dreams are made of. The storyline focuses on the efforts of famed dictatorial Great White Way director Julian Marsh to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression. It's the famous story of the chorus girl who ends up stepping in for the ailing star and being made an overnight success. Featuring classic Broadway tunes including "Shuffle off to Buffalo," "You're Getting To Be A Habit with Me," the title song "42nd Street" and "Lullabye of Broadway," you will definitely not want to miss this energetic classic tale performed for the first time at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.
This musical is suitable for all audiences.
What the Audience is saying:
“What a professional production! I could not have asked for more. I saw a cast that was not only talented, but they were well rehearsed. They sang beautifully, but most importantly, had an understanding of the genre. The show flowed, was funny, and took itself seriously enough to work. It was great!!”
