The 60's, 70's and 80's were a golden era for songwriting and during that period acts like Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Tommy James and The Shondells, and other big name chart-busting groups created beloved hits that have been heard for generations and are woven into America's consciousness. Not Broadway actors, these guys are the real performers who traveled all over the world, creating music and memories--from Madison Square Garden to the UK!
Now, after decades behind the scenes, some of the greatest artists who were instrumental in the success of these fabulous songs have reunited to form THE HIT MEN.
A group of six amazing performers, superb musicians, superior vocalists, great arrangers and creative composers, THE HIT Men are the original hitmakers of the 60's, 70's and 80's - including 3 of the original performing members Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, 2 of Tommy James' Shondells, two founding members of The Critters, and band-mates who played and performed with Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon and other mega-star acts.
On the road touring as THE HIT MEN, this brotherhood of musicians relive the magic they created on world stages and in recording studios years ago, bringing audiences a night of mega-hit after mega-hit, after mega-hit -- including everyone's favorite Four Seasons songs like "Oh What a Night", "Who Loves You", "Marianne", "Silence is Golden", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Rag Doll" and more great tunes made even more famous by Broadway's Jersey Boys. And they also perform many other memorable solid gold hits that they helped make famous - including "Mony, Mony", "Hanky Panky", "Peace Train", "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", "You're So Vain", "You Belong To Me", "Mr. Dieingly Sad" and "Younger Girl".
During their performance, THE HIT MEN also share great back stories and anecdotes from their days in recording studios and on the concert circuit; it's a great look back through rock & roll history from the guys who lived and breathed the experience.
