Children’s Summer Camp

Attention kids!

Now's your chance to be a star at Summer Camp 2021!

Learn the art of live theatre and perform on stage at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman this summer! Each lesson will include singing, acting, dancing and rehearsal. Camp will culminate in some of the greatest performances of the year.

SUMMER CAMP SESSION 1:

Camp: July 19 - August 6, 2021 (Monday - Friday)
Camp Cost: $400/Half Day - $950/Full Day
Performances: August 7 and 8

Morning Session: 9am - 12pm
Ages 5-9
Performing: Snow White the Musical

Performing: Toy's Tale
Ages 14-18
Performing: Disney's Newsies The Musical
Afternoon Session: 1pm - 4pm

Children aged 5-9 will be performing "Snow White the Musical!"
One of the most famous Princess stories of all time. An Evil Queen is jealous of her stepdaughter and does all she can to keep her out of the spotlight. Fearing for her life Snow White flees into the woods and meets the most unlikely of heroes, the Seven Dwarfs! See how they save our Princess and help her find her 'happily ever after!'

Children aged 10-13 will be performing "Toy's Tale!"
Children all have favorite toys. What happens when a new favorite joins the toy box? Treachery and deception! Plus an adventure alone in the streets of the big city! Original take on a family story with an original soundtrack!

Children aged 14-18 will be performing "Disney's Newsies The Musical!"
A group of kids dreaming of a better life try to help their families financial troubles by selling newspapers in 1899 NY. They must overcome the obstacles put in place by a greedy Newspaper owner. A great book and score....bring your dancing' shoes for this one!

Children aged 5-9 will be performing "Storytime Adventures!"
3 treasured classics. Jack & the Beanstalk. Poor boy sells cow for beans. Beans become Beanstalk. Boy climbs beanstalk! You know the rest. Little Red Riding Hood - Granny is sick and Little Red needs to bring goodies in a basket. Problem? She meets the Big Bad Wolf! The Three Little Pigs - 3 Little piggies set out into the world to build their houses: One of straw, one of sticks and one of bricks. Problem? The Return of the Big Bad Wolf! Three classic stories with original music!!!

Children aged 10-17 will be performing "Treasure Island!"
is the timeless classic written by Robert Louis Stevenson about a young man named Jim Hawkins who meets all sorts of scoundrels such as Billy Bones and his pirate friends. He boards a ship headed for a mysterious Island and meets the infamous one-legged pirate, LONG JOHN SILVER! Featuring original songs by Mr. Malcolm and Claudia Pelligrini

Don't forget about our pick-up/drop off times!


For an additional $75*, you may drop-off your child one hour early (8:00 am for morning sessions/12:00 pm for afternoon sessions) OR pick-up your child one hour later (1:00 pm for morning sessions/5:00 pm for afternoon sessions).

For an additional $150*, you may drop-off your child one hour early (8:00 am for morning sessions/12:00 pm for afternoon sessions) AND pick-up your child one hour later (1:00 pm for morning sessions/5:00 pm for afternoon sessions) - that's a combined total of TWO extra hours at camp!

*In addition to standard camp enrollment fees.

 

 

Registration closes on July 9, 2021 for session one and on July 30, 2021 for session two. We need to have this completed form in our hands before those dates. Return this completed application along with payment to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, PO Box 118, Pitman, NJ 08071. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 856.384.8381 Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The physical address of the theatre (but not the mailing address) is 43 South Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071 , or email to boxoffice@broadwaytheatreofpitman.com. All pages of this application must be submitted in its entirety. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Submit your application early to ensure availability for your child(ren).

NOTE: Safety protocols will be adhered to. Social distancing will be in effect, masks must always be worn, and a temperature check will be taken at the door. Please do not bring your child to rehearsal if he/she is ill. Children who have a fever or are taking any medication for an illness should not attend camp.

Payment to Mr. Malcolm's Summer Camp is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. If the state of New Jersey allows theatres to remain open with limited capacity, social distancing, and CDC guidelines and restrictions, this activity will go on as scheduled. There is a limited number of applications we are accepting, we will be accepting them as a first-come, first-serve basis.
